Garth obtained his BJuris and LLB degrees from the University of Port Elizabeth (now Nelson Mandela University) in 1990 and 1992 respectively.
Thereafter he completed his articles at Webbers of Bloemfontein and was admitted as an attorney in February 1996. He was admitted as a Conveyancer and Notary Public in 2000.
Garth specializes in conveyancing; corporate real estate; due diligence investigations; notarial bonds and other notarial work; sectional title developments; and the transfer of ownership in properties. Garth also specializes in the registration of mortgage bonds and servitudes; consolidations; subdivisions; drafting of commercial property agreements; and administration of deceased estates and related property transfers.
Since starting his journey in the law industry, Garth has accumulated more than 25 years of experience. Garth has been a Director at McWilliams & Elliott since 2006.
