Ed Murray

Director

Ed matriculated from Grey High School, Port Elizabeth and obtained his BProc degree from the University of Port Elizabeth (now Nelson Mandela University).

He served articles with McWilliams & Elliott, after joining the firm in 1988 and was admitted as an attorney during 1992.

Ed qualified as a conveyancer during 1995 and specialises in commercial law, municipal law, banking law, family law, property law, commercial and civil litigation and financial recoveries.

In his spare time Ed enjoys watching sport.

Imraan Petersen

Director

Imraan matriculated from Gelvandale Senior Secondary School where he was Head Boy. He completed his BA and LL.B degrees from the University of Natal and was admitted as an attorney during 1997.

Imraan was admitted as a conveyancer in 2007.

Imraan specialises in property law, Human Rights litigation, refugee and immigration law as well as Personal Injury law, in particular medical mal-practice litigation.

He enjoys playing soccer, golf, going to the gym as well as reading.

Garth Lotz

Director

Garth obtained his BJuris and LL.B degrees from the University of Port Elizabeth (now Nelson Mandela University) and completed his articles at Webbers of Bloemfontein.

Garth qualified as an attorney in 1996 and is also a qualified notary and conveyancer. He joined McWilliams & Elliott in 2006 and specialises in property law and all aspects of conveyancing, as well as commercial law, banking law and notarial work, including the registration of antenuptial contracts.

Garth is an admitted solicitor in England and Wales as well as an admitted attorney in Lesotho and holds a LLM in commercial law with an emphasis on banking and negotiable instruments, postgraduate diplomas in insolvency law, corporate law and labour law (all obtained cum laude), and certificates in deceased estates practice, environmental law, tax competency, business rescue practice and pension funds law.

Garth is a commissioner of the Small Claims Court in Port Elizabeth and is also an education, training and development practitioner for the purpose of learning programmes of the Law Society of South Africa.

In his spare time he enjoys reading and is a keen follower of cinema.

Terri-Ann Radloff

Director

Terri-Ann matriculated from Alexander Road High School, Port Elizabeth and obtained her LL.B degree from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University of Port Elizabeth (now Nelson Mandela University).

She served articles with McWilliams & Elliott, after joining the firm in 2008 and was admitted as an attorney during 2010.

Terri-Ann specialises in immigration, nationality and refugee law, commercial and civil litigation and financial recoveries.

In her spare time Terri-Ann enjoys participating in triathlons and horse riding.

Marileze Lötter

Professional Assistant

Marileze matriculated from Despatch High School and obtained the degree LL.B from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University of Port Elizabeth (now Nelson Mandela University).

Marileze was admitted as an attorney in March 2016 and joined our firm in May 2016.

In her free time Marileze enjoys being outdoors with her German Shepherd. Marileze also enjoys watching sports and trying new dessert recipes.

Kaya Ngubentombi

Professional Assistant

Kaya matriculated from De Villiers Graaff High School in Villiersdorp (100km's outstide Cape Town) and obtained his LL.B degree from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (now Nelson Mandela University).

He served articles with McWilliams & Elliott, after joining the firm in March 2016 and was admitted as an attorney in August 2018.

In his free time Kaya enjoys reading, Sunday beach runs and trying out different recipes.

Kaya also has a keen interest in the Global Economy, Political theory, Inter-national and national politics.
